I have been going through a bible study at my church called Esther. I have learned a lot of amazing things for sure. God has been teaching me more lately than he has been before. My eyes are opening for sure.
One thing that just touched me this week was one sentence, "For such a time as this", and what a wonderful sentence. Beth Moore talked about Esther in making a very hard decision. At this point in her life she was queen and she had to make a decision to go before the king or not. Now back in this day if you went before the king without being summoned you were killed. She had to because if she did not then her family and heritage would be wiped out.
So she told Mordecai, her maids, and the jews to do a fast for three days, and then she would go into the kings presence. This tells me she wanted to make sure she went into the kings presence with God by her side. Although she would be in the presence of the king at that time, she wanted to be in the presence of the one in whom mattered the most. What an awesome privilage.
I felt God saying if you want to believe in me there is no better time than now. Show me that you want to beleive in me. Give me the action behind the words. So what will I do. I will trust him to meet our needs, but also sacrafice and give all that I have in doing so. What an awesome testimony that Esther had. I want to be a women of God just like her.
"For such a time as this", we must do all we can so others will come into his presence. Teach and equip. If Esther did it, so can we.
God Bless... Kelly
