Sold Out For Christ....

Tonight I attended the See you at the pole rally at HCHS. It was a wonderful experience although not really my type of music. I like some of the Echoing Angels songs, but not all of them. But the atmosphere was great.

As I was taking pictures, I watched the youth people worship like I had not seen in a long time. There nothing like seeing youth people worship the Lord. I stood amazed at what God was doing in that breif moment.

As the speaker finally got up there my heart was tuned into what he had to say. The speaker was David Colston. I probably did not spell his name right, but he will forgive me if I did not. Anyways, Davids heart as he was speaking was just so awesome. He wanted to make sure he shared with only the intentions of what God had to share, and not on his on intentions, which blessed me. In that moment he reminded me of David in whom was an awesome man of God sold out for only God.

In his message, he talked about being sold out truely to God. As See You At The Pole comes up every year, we pray for our nation, cities, schools, gov. etc. but one thing that pricked my heart the most was will you be apart of those prayers you pray. I was like WHAT!!!! Then he went on to say if you pray for your freinds salvation would you be the one willing to share Christ to them. At that moment, I said WOW.... I did not know what else to say. It blew me away. That moment to me was so eyeopening. Then he went on to talk about a story about a little girl who was in church one day. This little girl was poor and did not have anything to give in the offering plate. As the ushers were taking up the offering she stopped one of them. She asked the usher to lower the offering plate several times until it was mainly on the ground. The usher was looking at her not really understanding what she meant. Then this little girl stepped into the offering plate and said, "Lord I dont have anything else, so I give you all of me". How much of yourself would you be willing to give. Are we going to be like this child nad be sold out compeletely to him.

We have to be like children to come to him. Depend on him today to help you be sold out for him. No we cant do it ourselves, but he can do it through us. Be Blessed....
